Melissa Bradford created Aspiring Journey due to my soul’s calling – to create a space where I can offer my gifts and wisdom guide you through the beautiful, wild jungle of your psyche without the constraints of insurance systems and certain structures. I have been a therapist for the past 20 years and have been able to offer healing, but at times it seems like it is a struggle to get to the root of the pain within the traditional insurance based system, so I have expanded my skills to become a Master of Integrated Arts and to provide holistic healing for the mind, body, and soul.
As a mental health therapist I have been offering healing of the mind through multiple modalities such as DBT, Sand tray, and IFS Parts Work. Over the past few years, I have received training using somatic techniques such as trauma informed breathwork and somatic movement, body mapping, brainspotting, and sound healing.
In 2023, I completed a year long training in psychedelic assisted therapy through Integrated Psychiatry Institute to offer scared journeys with full integration to help those with intense trauma, suicidal thoughts, or unable to break through programming in other ways. Lastly, I have added spiritual modalities to help the soul using the Sacred Healing Perspective Technique, Human Design, and Reiki. I now combined all of my modalities to create personalized healing.
Overall goal: My goal is to illuminate the shadows within the jungle of your psyche – built from negative perspectives, fear and trauma that at times act like a downed tree blocking your path. Together I will support you as we explore the shadows and play in the light of your brilliant majesty. As we adventure through the jungle, we will discover the flow of divine love and hope that feeds and nourishes the core of your self.
What are my modalities: My map and tookit is vast and always growing. The important thing to know about my skills is that I am like Indiana Jones – I am prepared for whatever comes, but I don’t like snakes! Investment in Your Journey? At this time, I am only accepting NEW clients on a cash-pay basis only. 1-hour healing session: $125 or 3-hour intensive deep-dives: $375. In person and virtual sessions available!
